Foot Facts

When I got back from ballet class today, my right foot started hurting. I think I twisted a muscle. Haha, will most likely be limping to school tomorrow... Ow, it really hurts... Well, now that you are reading this, it's time to interest you with a couple of facts which I came across on the Internet. Actually, I was searching for "Amazing foot facts" but then I came across these :)
  • You're born with 300 bones, but by the time you become an adult, you only have 206. (ooh, we actually shrink!)
  • You can't kill yourself by holding your breath. (Well how 'bout that...)
  • Beetles taste like apples, wasps like pine nuts, and worms like fried bacon. (Now we know...)
  • Human thigh bones are stronger than concrete. (Karate chopping blocks of concrete ain't that spectacular now is it?)
  • One quarter of the bones in your body, are in your feet!
  • There's more sweat glands on your feet than any other part of your body. An average pair of feet will sweat a pint of perspiration a day. (So that's where all the water goes...)

Haha... Hope you enjoyed that "enriching" session. Certainly gets you thinking doesn't it. Below are the websites where all these amazing, fantastic and brilliant information came from. If you want to know more, just visit them!

Leaving you with a final fun fact here :

Coca-Cola would be green if colouring weren’t added to it. (Oh yeah baby!)
