Ballet Shoes

For those that don't know, this is a movie. I read the book like a couple of years ago and i have to admit that i kinda fell asleep reading it. haha. But I'm not saying it isn't a good book, just "not my type". Okay, time for me to explain as i remembered it from the book. This man, Great Uncle Matthew (GUM) while travelling, sent back three girls to be taken care of by his niece, Sylvia, namely (in order) Pauline, Petrova and Posy. Then the story goes on, blah blah blah, they were running out of money and thus they took in boarders in order to get money. A boarder, Theo Dane, is a ballet teacher at The Children's Academy of Dancing and Stage Training. After seeing Posy dance, she arranges for the head of the school, Madame Fidolia, to train them free of charge. Pauline then discovers that she has the talent for acting and acted in various plays to raise money for the family, Posy, a gifted ballerina and Petrova, with mechanics. I think it's something like that, I'm not sure if there's more as it has been quite awhile... Now, the movie. The newest remake was in 2007 starring Emma Watson, Yasmin Paige and Lucy Boynton, directed by Sandra Goldbacher. There was another film, also for the same book made in 1975. I haven't exactly watched the entire film yet (which can be found on youtube) but I think it should be quite alright. As compared to the 1975 film, the 2007 film was rated 0.7 more on IMDb. However, eventually, it's still up to you to decide. Enjoy!
