Amadeus is a 1984 movie directed by Milos Forman telling the story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as told by Antonio Salieri in a flashback. It won 8 Oscars, 32 other wins and 13 other nominations. I've been dying to watch the entire movie since my encounter with a clip from that movie on youtube. I recently found that that disc could be found in the school library but I was unable to borrow it (for some reason). Some of my friends immediately seem uninterested when I mentioned this movie was about Mozart but seriously, this show is fantastic. Just because it's about a musician doesn't mean it's boring!!! In fact, I'm pretty sure that these famous musicians, including others such as Beethovan, have gone through much more than we have in our lives (for now maybe, considering our ages). Unfortunately, (fortunately for Mozart,) this show twisted a couple of facts and thus we cannot actually consider it a documentary (which is why we don't watch this in English or Lit. Just so you know, my EL teacher went," No!" when i suggested she borrowed this to watch after I mentioned it was about Mozart. No offence really...). Well, the facts might not be entirely accurate but really, you should try watching this movie (or just short clips of it will be fine too). If any of you have the disc and is willing to lend me ('cos I can't find it anywhere) please do let me know!
Note: Umm, I think there might be some scenes that might make you feel a little uncomfortable. I'm not sure whether it's PG or NC anything so yeah...
